Kenya Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas (KCSPOG) officially joined as PWYP Kenya in November 2018. KCSPOG is a 17-member civil society organisation coalition whose primary focus is on coordinating members’ work on upstream and midstream oil and gas issues. The Platform’s members work on various thematic areas ranging from land, environment, extractives revenue management and good governance.

KCSPOG members work closely on the development of laws and policies on oil and gas; engaging communities affected by exploration activities, upstream developments and construction of midstream infrastructure; as well as conduct research to inform policies and the citizenry on extractives issues such as revenue management.

PWYP Kenya works towards an equitable and sustainable oil and gas sector in Kenya by influencing policy and practice
